This is to inform you that Sudarshan Munjal Trust is going to inaugurate Second Innings Day Activity Centre for seniors at A10/19, DLF Phase-1, Gurgaon on Wednesday 16 th September, 2015. Mr. Pankaj Munjal-Chairman of Hero Cycle would be Chief Guest of the programme. And, we would love to have your presence on the day.

Briefing, Second Innings is aimed at giving love, care, affection and attention to the elders in our society.  With lives getting busier and schedules getting longer, spending time with our loved ones becomes tougher. Close interaction with many senior citizens made us realize the need to begin a Day Activity Centre aimed at fulfilling the social and recreational needs of our elders.

We wanted and have developed a place where they can do what they want to and just be themselves. We offer a comfortable and homely environment for happy interaction amongst like-minded people. With various indoor, outdoor and health specific amenities, we are committed to make your days more interesting and enjoyable!

Facilities in Second Innings Centre:

The Second Innings Centre provides various facilities for seniors to enjoy their maturity, such as in-door games, out-door games, meditation & yoga, music and TV lounge, tea, snacks, lunch, festive & holiday celebrations, field trips, library, relaxation room, massage, acupressure, pick & drop and medical check-up facilities on demand. Services are not limited to mention above, more would be included on the bases of interest of our elders.

In-door Game:

You can enjoy a number of in-door games with your loved ones such as carom board, cards, chess, ludo, and other brain storming games.

Out-door games:

We have planned limitless fun for you. You can fly kite, fun in garden party, refreshment in gardening, fresh breathing through evening walk and much more.

Yoga & Meditation:

Maturity demands extra focus on health, so why not we start doing yoga and meditation. We have Yoga expert who knows different breathing and physical exercises good for elders.

Music & TV Lounge:

We don’t want you to miss your favorite TV shows, that’s why fixed +40 inches LED. Apart from this, we have good musical collection in our library.

Tea, Snacks, Lunch:

There is no need to waste your time in preparing meals, because tea, snacks and lunch would be provided by Second Innings. Our focus would be to offer you what is good for your health without compromising with taste.

Festive & Holiday Celebrations:

For creating new memories, festivals and public holidays would be celebrated with friends at Second Innings.

Field Trips:

Our priority is to make you happy, so will plan field trips every month. You would decide where you want to go, either would like to visit Akshardam, red fort, 20/20, or watching movies in PVR.

Library:

Magazines, new papers, and books of your favorite authors would be available in the library. Additional, free WIFI facility would be available for you.

Relaxation Room:

As knowing that in this age, whole day engagement activities are not good for you. You may feel exhausted or tired. That’s why we have a separate room where you can relax or enjoy little nap.

Massage & Acupressure:

Acupressure is very effective to cure headache and troubling stomach, so expert would be arranged to teach usage of Acupressure. Beauty culture expert would also visit once in a week for massage therapy.

Pick & Drop and Medical Check-up facility:

We don’t want you to compromise with your heath and comfort level, so pick and drop and medical check-up facility would be available on demand.
